Hi,
can anyone help me with using fvwm-menu-desktop on ubuntu (10.04 - so
pre-unity)?

My problem is that it only generates empty menus - but I can't figure out
what settings I need to make it work. I'm guessing --dir should do
something, but am unsure where to point it, or what file fvwm-menu-desktop
is looking for.

Here is the current output:

fvwm-menu-desktop
DestroyMenu "gnome-sys"
AddToMenu "gnome-sys" "Gnome System Menu" Title

fvwm-menu-desktop --desktop gnome-user
DestroyMenu "gnome-user"
AddToMenu "gnome-user" "Gnome User Menu" Title

Thanks...

What version of FVWM is this?

If it's not 2.6.2, then it won't work.

Version 2.5.28.

I'll test out the latest one...

Thanks.
