FVWM: compiling with gnome support problem

i've been compiling the latest devel release of fvwm2 and despite having
gnome and its libraries installed the configure script does not find
them. perhaps i need to add an option to configure to point it to
those libraries but i'm not sure as the INSTALL & INSTALL.fvwm files do
not say.

After running configure, the relevent line reads this:

With GNOME libs support in FvwmGtk? no: Can't find working gnome-config

i'm sure i must be missing something simple, just wondering if anyone
can give me some help.

Thanks

jamie.

FvwmGtk uses GTK1.
You are unlikely to find a working version of GTK1.

You can build and use Fvwm without a working FvwmGtk.

So far, no one has expressed an interest in bringing FvwmGtk up to date.

ah, that'll be why then. When i saw the output from configure and the
line i posted it confused me - i thought it wasn't picking up something
it should.

Not to worry and thanks for clearing that up for me.

Best wishes, jamie.
