I look at some Facebook forums in Japanese and Chinese sometimes and the
Japanese and Chinese characters in the title of my browser (Firefox) and
FvwmIconMan are represented as squares. I've set all the font correctly
according to man pages and examples I've seen on the internet; however,
nothing I've tried works.
These characters are displayed correctly in all other applications and in
the browser content correctly. I've set up my locales correctly according
to my OS manuals.
The font I'm using is:
"xft:Andale Mono:pixelsize=12:econding=iso10646-1"
I've also set the encoding to "utf-8" in the font. This is the default
fault and also specified again in the settings for FvwmIconMan.
Does anyone else have this trouble? and knows how to fix it?
It's not a major issue, although a little irritating. Do you know what
the problem could be?
Any help much appreciated.
Jamie.
