Just a quick note regarding the current website: The basic design is nice, but the white border gives me a headache when trying to read any of the actual text. Some desktop image (scaled or tiled) would likely be a big improvement, but so would a darker solid color.

I won't be replying to queries; I'm unsubscribing now as I haven't used FVWM for a long time. Despite trying for years, I can't really get on with the configuration language. I'm much happier with systems with few features built-in, but scriptable in ways that make it easy for me to add more. I get less confused that way. :)

That's rather too vague; can you be a little more specific about your issue,
please?
he's complaining that the web site looks like the user
has set the root window to white.

I didn't notice before, but I agree, it's not pleasant
to look at. I wonder what would make a better background,
a gradient or an image.

Easy enough to change,

you can also hit the maximize button and get rid of the border all together.

I'd suggest to make it plain black, but anything darker than #003c3c will do.

Not that the white bothers me at all, but if it's supposed to mimic a root
window, then how about a dark granite texture?
